Why cashmere?

Cashmere is incredibly soft, lightweight, and naturally temperature-regulating. It keeps babies warm without overheating.

Where does your wool come from?

Transparency, animal welfare, fair working conditions, and environmental protection are very important to us. That's why we use cashmere from M.oro in Inner Mongolia, certified with The Good Cashmere Standard® . You can learn more under our Values
section.

Where are the blankets designed and produced?

The blankets are designed and developed in Austria, and produced near Hangzhou, China, where we personally oversaw the production process.

From what age can the blanket and triangle scarves be used?

Our blankets are suitable from birth and can be used for many years - in the stroller, crib, or on the go. Our own children have used them since birth, and even now, in kindergarten, they are their familiar comfort and sleep companions.

Our triangle scarves are cut to fit both children and adults. From bandana style to the Sophie Scarf, you can be styled in multiple ways.

2. Care & Cleaning

How should I wash my cashmere product?

Cashmere is naturally dirt-repellent, so often just airing it out is enough. If washing is necessary, we recommend hand-washing at 30°C with a gentle wool detergent. Avoid rubbing or soaking the product. Rinse thoroughly and lay flat to dry. Never use a tumble dryer, and if needed, iron at a low temperature.

Can the blanket or scarf go in the dryer?

No. Tumble drying can cause shrinkage, felted fibers, or distortion in the shape. After washing, gently press our excess water (do not wring), lay flat on a towel to air-dry, and reshape if necessary.

What about pills or small knots?

Cashmere is an ultra-fine natural fiber, so small pills can occasionally form from friction. In our experience, this happens very little with our blankets and scarves, and any pills can easily be removed with a cashmere comb if needed.

How long does shipping take?

Within Austria, products usually arrive within 2-4 business days. For other EU countries, the  average delivery time is
3-5 business days.

Are there shipping costs?

Orders over 89€ qualify for free shipping. For
orders under 89€,  shipping costs will be charged as follows .

Are your products good gifts?

Our blankets are a popular gift for births, christenings, or first birthdays, delivered in a high-quality cotton bag.

Our triangular scarves also make a good gift - with their One Size Fits All design, they’re guaranteed to fit everyone.

Can I return the products if I don't like them?

Yes, unused items can be returned within 14 days in their original condition.

4. Story

What’s the idea behind the brand?

Finding Dodo was born out of a very personal experience. When we lost our child's cashmere blanket - the one he had loved and needed for sleep since birth - we realized how important a trusted companion is for babies. We wanted to create a blanket that is not only soft and high-quality, but also reflects our sense of aesthetics.
